Tape extraction

We have many years experience with the extraction of data from different media and file systems.

• We retrieve a file or set of files based on specific criteria (e.g. name, application, type etc).
• We then copy over to another media - usually a USB drive

There are several scenarios which would require the extraction of data from tapes:

• Restoring deleted or archived files: critical data has been accidentally or voluntarily deleted.
• Investigation: files related to a law case need to be accessed.
• Loss of critical application: A critical business application was not installed onto the new system. Installation and execution files have been archived on tapes.
