Maintaining
data availabilty is of paramount importance to businesses who wish to operate at full capacity at all times, it has been stated.
Tony Neate, managing director at Get Safe Online, has said that companies should invest in professional data backup services to ensure that should servers fail or other problems be encountered then a firm is able to get back up and running as quickly as possible.
He commented: "It's very important to make sure your backups are good and you have something in place where if you do go down ... you have a number to ring to make sure you get it back up as fast as you possibly can."
According to a recent survey entitled the Data Centre Transformation: Key Implementation Drivers, the top
data management improvements which UK businesses are looking to implement this year include data consolidation, virtualisation and improvements in business continuity planning.
