Solid state data recovery

Between September 2007 and September 2008, Kroll Ontrack Data Recovery specialists saw a 70% increase in data recovery requests for flash media and solid-state drives (SSD).

We have therefore developed our capabilities and processes to include the recovery of data from flash media and both IDE and SATA solid-state drives.

The two most common causes of data loss in flash media and solid-state drives are:

• Accidental physical damage
• Power interruption to the device causing electronics failure and/or data corruption.
